For our customers looking to rent a home with Tipi

We’re still open, ready and waiting to take you on virtual tours of our brand new apartments to find your dream home. Below is a handy list of our FAQs or get in touch with our Leasing team who are available with phones and laptops at the ready from sofas, bedrooms and kitchen tables across London to handle any questions you have. They're happy to help you with anything from apartment availability, floorplans, pricing, virtual tours and anything else you can think of so you’re comfortable planning your next move in these times.

We may not be able to do viewings in person, but you can take 360 virtual viewings (either self-serve or guided) and you can reserve your apartment now to move in later when restrictions start to lift. If you simply have to move, in accordance with government guidelines, we can help you move in quickly and safely thanks to a specially adapted ‘contactless’ moving in process which we can talk you through that adheres to social distancing and ensures you’re up and running immediately. However, we’ll be on hand to help at every step from reservation to move in day and beyond.

For over 4 years, our mission has been to serve you – to make your everyday renting life easier and we’re doing everything we can to ensure that continues. Be sure to keep an eye out for your Resident eNewsletters that will let you know what’s happening and provide any updates. We’re hosting a series of virtual socials & workshops, keeping selected external social spaces open, ensuring concierge remain on hand to help and more, as we play our part in the national effort during this difficult time.

We look forward to opening all social spaces and lifting restrictions when the time is right - in line with government guidelines - but in the meantime, please keep visiting this page for the latest information and be sure to read your Resident eNewsletter. Whilst we've stopped physical, face-to-face viewings, for the foreseable future, we have an excellent range of virtual viewing options available. From self-serve 360 virtual tours hosted on our website of each and every building, its show apartments and social spaces - meaning you can take a full viewing from the comfort of your own home; to personalised individual apartment 360 virtual tours that can be supplied by our leasing team for the likes of Ferrum and Alameda. We recommend you get in touch with our leasing team who are available with phones and laptops at the ready from sofas, bedrooms and kitchen tables across London to handle any questions you have, help you with your virtual viewing and plan your next move.

Absolutely. You can reserve your apartment (taking it off the market) for a small refundable fee, and move in any time within 3mths or when restrictions lift, whichever is sooner and is best for you. If you simply have to move now, in accordance with government guidelines , we can help you move in quickly and safely thanks to a specially adapted, 'contactless' move-in process, which we will be happy to talk you through. Move-ins are still taking place for people who want to keep their original move-in date, and we’re on hand to make move-in day and your first few weeks as smooth as possible. We've adapted a special 'contactless' move-in process, which a member of Tipi’s resident team will guide you through. They'll also get in touch at least 48 hours before your move-in to:

  • Advise you where to collect your keys/fobs
  • Explain how our current move-in process accommodates social distancing
  • Discuss the temporary measures to keep our residents safe
  • Ask you to fill in the COVID-19 questionnaire prior to move-in

The mandatory 'Right to Rent' checks don't actually have to be carried out in person during this lockdown period. All you need to do is send any scanned documents for checks by email or app to our leasing team, rather than sending originals. After that, the leasing team will organise a video call for the check itself. You'll be asked to hold up the original documents to the camera so we can check them against the digital copy of your documents. Within 8 weeks of government advice changing, we'll also do a retrospective physical check of all documents and IDs. Back To Top
